Grosgrain, Ribbons, Feathers and All Things Pretty

It is quite safe to assume that generally, people are easy to please. No matter how mundane or extraordinarily exquisite a certain thing is, humanity’s fascination over the most random stuff is uncanny. This explains a lot why individuals are hooked towards several forms and crafts, and they see these forms of art as an expression of something intrinsic to their nature or something borne out of an innovation.

For designers, stylists and sewing enthusiasts, the world of fashion is truly a delightful and spectacular world out there, and even the most basic aspects of fashion counts. The art of fashion is truly an open book. Fashion shows and fashion runways are so common that it has attracted a massive following of, as mentioned, designers, stylists, sewing enthusiasts and even fashion bloggers.

Dresses, corsets, skirts, and other ensembles do not just form or sew by itself; it is the overall composition by the designer of the basic aspects of a certain type of clothing that these
closet wonders come to life. People who make a business out of this would normally flock to retail stores and wholesale distributors who carry a wide selection of cloths in various colors, threads, needles and pins.

They would also flock to these kinds of specialty stores for glamorous fashion accessories to include in the ensemble such as ribbons, Grosgrain, peacock feather, laces, beads, zippers, brooches, strings, Velcro Singapore, sequins, buttons and a whole lot more to give life to their designs. By getting these basic components, we all have something to stare at in fashion magazines, in clothing catalogues, in dress shops and in fashion shows. One can easily fall prey to the captivating aura of fashion starting with the simple imagination, “what would I look like if I was wearing that gown?” Fashion and all the basic components underlying it are truly one of the many beautiful things in this lifetime.
